A meandering passage recording the life of an ordinary clergyman as it careens from the sublime to the ridiculous, often without knowing which is which.
I would also note that while it is true 1% of Americans own half the wealth...they also pay half the federal income taxes. Half of Americans pay none. We need a serious overhaul of the tax code.

If half of Americans pay no income tgax, maybe it has something to do with their being too poor. So, which is worse? That they rich ay too much or the poor have too little to pay? Either way, this is not healthy for as a society.
